ABOUT US: Tempoo

I’ve always loved “shops” — not just as places to buy things, but as spaces where people and objects connect.
Working in customer service for many years, I came to cherish the warmth of everyday conversations, casual greetings, and the gentle atmosphere that shops can create.
After becoming a mother, I began creating and selling accessories under the name "Denimuni" using Mizuhiki, a traditional Japanese cord.
The beauty and meaning woven into each delicate knot taught me the quiet joy of creating and connecting through handmade work.
As I continued,I met many wonderful people — both costomers and fellow creaters — and found even more inspiration in those connections.
Through these experiences, my desire to create a shop that connects the items I love with people who will treasure them grew even stronger.

The name “Tempoo” carries several meanings:
Tempo in Japanese (店舗), the rhythm of life, and in Italian, the word for time.
I hope to share items and encounters that grow alongside you in your daily life — pieces that quietly become more special with time, and whose charm deepens as the days go by.
