Jellyfish - Magnetic Brooch

This one-of-a-kind brooch is made using coil wires coated with pure silver, a material traditionally used in the Austrian craft of Klosterarbeiten.
Each piece is designed and handcrafted by artist Hiyoshi Katayama.

While it holds the elegant shine of metal, the delicate and lightweight texture of the coiled wire gives the piece a unique presence.
Over time, its color deepens, developing an antique-like patina you can enjoy as it ages.

This brooch comes in a custom frame lined with washi paper, reflecting the artist’s chosen aesthetic.
When not worn, it can be displayed as art, adding a gentle atmosphere to your space.

A strong magnet allows you to wear it without piercing your clothes or bags.
The brooch and magnet are connected by a chain, so you don’t need to worry about losing it.
It’s easy to remove or reposition and can be worn on coats, hats, or bags.

The leg-like arms are made with aurora-coated beads, giving the jellyfish a mystical, otherworldly shimmer.
Its cool appearance brings a calming vibe, enhanced by the marine-like feel of the deep blue washi background.
